On a note completely unrelated to school, feminism or really anything serious, the poster for the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who was released yesterday. And it’s super exciting and I CAN’T wait and TEN IS COMING BACK.

I thought it was funny, ok?
The glorious diva Patti LuPone in the original Broadway production of Evita. I’d never understood what was so special about her, or even thought she was very talented until I saw this. The amount of things she can put into one tiny flick of her wrist… Astounding.
Evita is a musical I can talk about for hours, but that’ll have to be in a later post.
Ok, ok, those of you who are fans have already seen this, but goshdarnit, I’m excited! The trailer for the Doctor Who Christmas Special is out!
I absolutely adore Steven Moffat’s Sherlock and Benedict Cumberpatch , but I don’t think ANYONE will ever beat Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. What an actor.
“Donna, I don’t-“
“The stick turned blue,” she says.
“Sorry?”
“The… stick… turned… blue…” she says, enunciating each word very carefully.
The Doctor blinks. “The crow flies at midnight,” he says after a moment.
“What?!”
“Oh sorry, I thought we were speaking in some sort of code.”
